Edventure

Today was our second family day. We have been trying to have a family day once a month during the week. Our weekends are very busy and often spent doing chores so we like the idea of doing something during the week together as a family. Today we went to Edventure kids museum in Columbia.This is Ed. He is a giant boy inside the museum.


They had the cutest little grocery store where the kids could shop and check out their groceries. Morgan loved it. I think it was her favorite.



This was a fire fighting exhibit. They had boot and jackets for the kids to wear and a full size fire truck to play in. As you can see in the picture Jamie had as much fun as Morgan!



In the farm exhibit they had vegetables you could pull out of the ground and peaches to pick off the trees. They also had chickens to look under for eggs and a tractor to drive. Even Maggie go in on the fun!ready to have her teeth cleaned

They had a room for the kids to play dentist and another room about the body and bones, and a talking skeleton in the closet :) It told jokes and facts about the skeletal system.

We really had a wonderful time. The best part is that Jamie is doing a commercial for the museum and we got tickets for free. He had a little lunch meeting and we got to play the rest of the time. We got there around 11 and buses were leaving so we had most of the exhibits to our.selves and it was very nice not to rush.
