Jamie went to his regular Dr. today and it seems that he has some kind of infection (bug). He came off the prednisone last Friday and has been having lots of withdrawal symptoms and feeling yucky. He has also had a fever and cough so that is why the Dr decided to give him an antibiotic. (the prednisone makes your immune system weak) He was also prescribed some pain meds for the terrible head aches. So, hopefully he will be able to sleep really good for the first time in awhile. They drew more labs and a thyroid antibody test that should determine if he does in fact have a thyroid problem. He is getting referred to another specialist since the last one was not very helpful. He should be feeling better really soon. Big thanks to Grandma Betty and Paw Paw Roger who watched the girls so I could go with Jamie. We are blessed to have family who care so much!! So...say a prayer and cross your fingers with me that Jamie is closer to normal real soon:)
